peacocks and art

The other weekend, we got to spend the day at the Maryhill Arts Festival, hosted at the Maryhill Museum. Did you ever wonder where the saying "where in sam hill?" came from? Well, we found out that the Sam Hill the saying is referring to, owned this property. Who would've thought.

On the grounds was a flock of peacocks that were all very beautiful and tame. It was fun to watch them eat out of the hands of children. Plus, they were fun to photograph.
